Increasing Confidence for a New Leader

Our Approach

We started the six month coaching engagement by establishing a clear vision of leadership, and creating meaningful goals to support her success. We identified roadblocks and ways to overcome them. Experiments or activities helped her to move from a leadership vision to a leadership practice. This process uncovered some great strengths she could tap into, and also some skill gaps for her to focus on.

Our last meeting was used to create an ongoing action plan she could use to carry her forward.

After working with our coach, the client reported:

  • Increased trust and connection with her co-workers which fostered an environment of collaboration and challenge.
  • Increased confidence in her role, including delivering feedback or differing opinions
  • Increased feedback from her leader about the value her ideas have brought to the team.
