Creating Dynamic Experiences

A lot of remote learning events lack engagement or retention because they failed to consider the design needed for online audiences. Talking over an existing deck via Zoom can relay information, and to truly get behavior change it is important to keep:

Customizing visuals, activities, and ways to share.
Building inclusion and community by creating shared experiences.
Learning peer-to-peer and in a cohort setting.

Learning is the cornerstone on which leadership, engaged performance, and contribution are built. To meet the needs of geographically diverse staff, it is important to foster dynamic remote learning experiences.

Force Multiplier

Our Force Multiplier program takes a cohort of leaders through four domains of leadership impact: self, team, organization, and industry. Cohorts are limited in size to allow maximum participation. Each segment lasts about 90 days and has a series of challenges, experiments, ideas, and frameworks for the group to explore (either on their own or with others). Segments can be completed individually or sequentially. This program creates peer-to-peer and group accountability to facilitate impact at all levels.

Force Multiplier is designed to address four levels of leadership impact:

Self

The purpose of this cycle to is to answer the question: How can be a stronger leader? You will work through optional activities or processes to develop your leadership capacity and capabilities. The deliverable is a Leadership Dashboard and personalized action plan to use throughout the entire program.

Team

The purpose of this cycle is to answer the question: how can I have more impact on my team? The deliverable created is a success plan and playbook (for yourself or others).

Company

The purpose of this cycle is to answer the question: how can I have greater impact on the cross functional teams I am a part of? A six-part framework is used to analyze the performance of two or more cross-functional teams. The deliverable in this cycle is an experiment that impacts one or more of those teams.

Industry

The purpose of this cycle is to answer the question: how can I have greater impact on the industry I am a part of? The deliverable in this cycle will be three examples of thought leadership. This can go in a number of directions. It could mean bringing together other leaders from other companies or sharing ideas across multiple or different platforms internally.

Q: When employees are learning virtually, how important is it to form relationships with other participants?

A: Cohorts are critical. Even with virtual work, a top success factor is a well-rounded, diverse cohort that helps people feel engaged.
